Objective of the Function
3G/LTE/4G is a new wave of technology. The involved testing technologies (automation, advanced tools, complex system, etc.) become more and more challenging. The role is to support the testing of BTS (3G) system in a high efficient and effective approach.
Tasks / Responsibilities
The test engineer is responsible for the test planning and execution:
l Support test automation in for continuous integration test and automated regression test.
l Involve in the software and system design review and improve the quality from testing perspective
l Prepare test plan, test cases and script writing for automated testing
l Execute testing and find the faults
l Ensure the functions and quality attributes (e.g. performance) meet the requirements of BTS
l Actively contribute to test team via review, mentoring, and regular knowledge sharing
Education
Minimum Bachelor of Science or Engineering
· At least 3 years software development professional experience or 3 years software/system testing professional experience
· Experience with software development process; understand the importance and the challenges of testing
· Experience with agile process (e.g. SRUM) is plus; experience with continuous test integration is plus
· Automated testing with script is plus
· Experience with DB, C++, XML, C# is plus
· Experience of Eclipse is plus
· Experience with cross platform development (Windows, Linux) is plus
· Script programming skills (e.g. Perl, Python)
· Test case design methods
· Test coverage
· Good knowledge of wireless communication network, WCDMA / LTE is preferred
· High initiative and customer focus
· Ability to analyze
· Quality and result orientation
· Strong team player
Languages
· English –fluent / advanced level in spoken and written
