Objective of the Function
3G/LTE/4G is a new wave of technology. The involved testing technologies (automation, advanced tools, complex system, etc.) become more and more challenging. The role is to support the DSP software development in a high efficient and effective approach.
Tasks / Responsibilities
The development engineer is responsible for:
l Responsible for WCDMA NODEB DSP SW architecture definition, specification, design, implementation, testing and maintenance
l Develop the WCDMA NODEB DSP SW base on the TI 64+ DSP, including the dispreading, Rake receiver and interference cancellation
l Contribute to inspection/review of specification, design and interface
l Follow NODEB SW develop process. Deliver the WCDMA DSP SW predictably with high quality
Education
M.Sc. or B.Sc. degree in Telecommunication Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent
Experience
· Experience in embedded software, Esp. in telecommunication equipment.
· Strong C programming skill and RTOS knowledge.
· 1+ Years of working experience in DSP or Communication fields; Knowledge on LTE/TD-SCDMA/WiMax/WCDMA L1 UL technology (Rake receiver, interference cancellation, MIMO, Channel decoding, etc.) is a plus.
· Any experience in receiver SW area is a strong plus.
Knowledge
· Basic knowledge on 3GPP standard, algorithms design and implementation
· A good understanding of Digital Signal Processors and Digital Signal Processing
